Outside of my work and business commitments, I spend time volunteering as a member of New York Junior League. I had the honor of serving as the Executive Vice Chair of the Winter Ball Committee this year. On March 1st, the 73rd Annual Winter Ball had its moment at Cipriani South Street in New York City. After a year’s work, our committee and non-profit raised $850,000 for our community partners in New York City. All proceeds go straight to the community that we call our home.
- Led the subcommittees of Fundraising, Social Events, External Communications, and Internal Communications for one of the oldest women’s volunteer non-profit organizations in New York for their largest fundraiser of the year as a volunteer.
- Lead beauty and luxury brand partnership outreach for gala sponsors in collaboration with Co-chairs for corporate sponsorships and tabling.
- Created all email copy for over 20+ newsletters for New York Junior League’s newsletter, Friday Flash, with 10K email readers focusing on the Winter Ball, our brand partners and honorees.
- Create over 15+ internal and external documents, including fundraising documents, press releases, thank you letterss, personal draft copies for the Brand President and Co-Chairs, political letters, keepsake journal advertisements, run of the show documents, email drafts, social media copy and more.
- Lead Event Vice Chair and subcommittee with event set up, planning, and staging for 950 guests for pre-evening planning and day of event planning.
- Personally raised total 90K value of auction items, corporate sponsorship, cash donations for Winter Ball’s live and silent auctions, VIP gift bags and honoree special eventing.
- Managed event’s staff including photographers, musicians, guests of honor, dancers for night of eventing.
